Hi! I’m male, nineteen, straight, and single. This fall I will be a sophomore at Tufts University. My interests include Lord of the Rings, other books (lots of them!), computer games, history, cute things (cats, puppies, tiny animals, Appa {from Avatar: The Last Airbender}), webcomics (especially: Hark! A Vagrant, Ctrl+Alt+Del, Dinosaur Comics, The Abominable Charles Christopher (cute!), and xkcd). I also enjoy being silly, being lazy, and swimming, but never running. Similarly to April, though in reverse, I have many friends who are girls. I do have guy friends, and I have been told I have bromances with some of those male friends of mine. I have had a majority of female friends since about freshman year of high school, if I recall correctly. I’m not sure why exactly; I was a “normal” elementary school boy: all of my friends were other boys. I think sometime in middle school I shifted groups of friends and lost close connections with many of my male friends, not to say that I wasn’t friends with them anymore, but that I instead spent my time with a different crowd. This translated over into high school where all throughout the majority of my friends, both within school settings and out, were, and still are, female. Coming out of freshman year of college I have continued the pattern with a similar ratio of many more female friends than male friends. If someone could tell me why this is, that would be great, I would really love to know!
I will leave you with picture of me in a silly hat (something which I enjoy which I didn't mention before-trying on hats, preferably ones that will look silly on me).
